Once again, the arrival of the Christmas season marks the beginning of the solidary campaign promoted by El Nacional<\/u><\/strong>. The funds raised go to the SJD Barcelona Children\u00b4s Hospital<\/strong><\/a>, \u200b\u200ba pediatric centre of international recognition and visited by patients from all over the world, and in which each year more than 245,000 consultations, 117,000 emergencies, 18,000 hospitalisations, 19,000 treatments of outpatients, \u00a0and where more than 3,300 babies are born. In addition, it treats 12,000 patients with rare diseases, and therefore, the objective of the campaign is to collaborate economically to promote the investigation of these diseases that affect children and, in this way, can help achieve their great objective of increasing the number of clinical trials, treatments and scientific knowledge.<\/p>\n

DON’T MISS OUR SWITCH ON OF THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The start of the Christmas season will be celebrated next Thursday, November 28th<\/sup> at 9:00 p.m.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

This year’s Christmas lighting takes place on Thursday, November 28th<\/sup> at 9:00 p.m.<\/u><\/strong> It will be the researchers and doctors representing the hospital themselves who will turn on the more than 500,000 LEDs in a lively event dedicated to the solidary campaign.<\/p>\n

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?<\/strong><\/p>\n

From Thursday, November 28th<\/sup> until January 6th<\/sup>, El Nacional customers will be able to collaborate with the initiative by donating \u20ac 1 when paying their bill.<\/strong> An additional \u20ac 10,000 will be donated privately to this collection by El Nacional.<\/p>\n

In the last edition of 2018-2019, we raised \u20ac 27,102 for the SJD Barcelona Children\u2019s Hospital, and we hope to exceed that amount for this new campaign.<\/p>\n
